When you pass the font during communion, you may take a stone and carry it with you to remind you that God is with you at all times. When you encounter anyone having a difficult struggle in their life, you may give the stone to them, explaining that they should carry it with them as a reminder that God is always with them and that they have someone here on earth who cares about them and will keep them in their prayers. After you have given your stone away, you may take another stone from the baptismal font and continue the practice. PARENTS: Due to a possible choking hazard, please allow only children 10 yrs and older to take a stone.
