Since 1974, Hosanna has been a community "called, gathered and sent to be a people living, loving, and serving as Jesus did, so that all may know Him.” We are sinners saved by God's free gift of grace, called to follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ through worship, learning, fellowship, and service. Prayer under-girds everything we do as a community in Christ.
Passing on our faith to our children and involving our young people in every aspect of our congregational life are both high values to the Hosanna congregation.
We are a welcoming church, open to all, accepting one another with respect for our diversity and rejoicing in our unity in God's Spirit.
Hosanna Lutheran Church activities and worship are rarely canceled because of inclement weather. In the rare instance that activities must be canceled due to inclement weather, every effort will be made to inform staff and members as follows:
• Cancellation notice on Hosanna's phone system (651-464-5502)
• Staff and group leads may be contacted by phone
• Cancellations posted our website home page
• Constant Contact Email Messaging
• Facebook notification
• Written notices will be posted on all entrances to Hosanna Lutheran Church
Cancellations during inclement weather are solely for the safety of our staff and member families. Every effort will be made to reschedule activities at a later date.

Hosanna Lutheran offers a Baptism class for infants and children. All parents are required to attend and to contact the church to pre-register. Nursery services will be available.
For adult baptism, please contact the pastor to schedule a private meeting to discuss your baptism.
God comes to us and claims us in our baptism. Hosanna would love to be a part of this special day in the life of your family. Baptism calls for a close look at the responsibilities and opportunities of those who have been given the privilege of caring for children. The request for Baptism is a healthy one, showing spiritual concern, and reason for celebration in the worshiping community. Our responsibility as a church reaches beyond simply having our pastor perform the Baptism. Christian faith is foundational for parents and an understanding of the Sacrament of Baptism is very important. Everyone preparing for a Baptism and attending this Class will have the opportunity to learn more about the Sacrament. You will also have a chance to ask any questions you have about baptism or about the ceremony itself.
Please contact us to register in advance for the next available baptism class.
